Default New guy

hey, new to bowling, new to the site.... My wife and I live in orange county, ca and have recently started bowling and love it... After a few months we got our own equiptment, i currently have a 16 pound avalanch and she has a 12 pound tropical storm. Our averages dropped once we got our balls, with the new fingertip grip but we can both see the potential. Besides just introducing myself, had a quick question. My avalanch is drilled but does not have the plastic insert pieces.... after a few games my thumb starts to stick, I'm guessing because a little sweat and that ball is reactive ressan.... do you guys sugguest having those inserts put in?

I have an insert in the thumb of all my balls ... you should talk to the person who drilled your ball - they likely will let you try out some different grips before you buy to see if you like them - also they arent that expensive just to give them a whirl if they wont let you try before you buy.
